Transportation Industry is seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join their team in Dubai. The job holder will be responsible for transporting goods and/or passengers safely and efficiently. This is an entry level, full time role. The salary for this role ranges from 4001 AED to 5000 AED which may be slightly negotiable during the interview.
Responsibilities of Driver
- Safely transport goods and/or passengers to their destinations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all times.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods as needed.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel, and vehicle maintenance.
- Follow delivery schedules and timelines to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, if applicable.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements of Driver
- Valid UAE driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy objects.
- UAE residency or work permit is required.
- Proven experience of less than 1 year as a driver, preferably in a commercial or transportation role.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Knowledge of Dubai roads and traffic regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
